With a Ask Dougie website package, we arrange the hosting through our platform provider. Your monthly website subscription covers hosting; you do not need a separate customer Floot account.

Keep paying your current domain provider. We arrange where the name sends website visitors. Moving the website usually does not require moving the domain registration.
Move management of the name to another suitable registrar, while you remain the owner. Eligibility, provider approval, transfer steps, costs and timing depend on the domain.
Connection and transfers are separate steps. Some domains have transfer restrictions. We cannot promise instant activation or zero interruption; existing mailboxes and website links need review.

Our intended service registers the domain in your or your business’s name. Ownership and access are agreed before purchase or transfer.
We connect after the website and required settings are ready. Verification and internet updates take time; we confirm status rather than promise an instant launch.
Keep it until your new website and any email arrangements have been reviewed and tested. Cancelling too early can interrupt your current services.
Your domain remains yours. Website content export, cancellation terms and technical migration options must be explained before you sign up. Proprietary website features may need rebuilding elsewhere.
